SAFEWALK WINDOWS LOGON

The Safewalk Windows Logon is a Credential Provider plug-in for Windows-based workstations and servers that provides secure and flexible access to all the current Windows Desktops and Servers (including RDP) using all the authentication capabilities of the Safewalk platform.

SAFEWALK CREDENTIAL PROVIDER OPERATES

IN TWO STEPS:

Step 1 - Authenticate the user with its assigned Safewalk authenticator (the plug-in can be configured to bypass this step for predefined users)

Step 2 - Pass the Windows credentials, which were entered by the user, on to the underlying Windows operating system for further verification (this step is useful in order to allow a transparent access to the underlying Windows operating system so that policies and procedures that are built into the Windows operating system and Domain are preserved).
